May 2-3: Cross Ranch Birding Weekend. Guided bird hikes and programs on birds.
May 15: FULL CAMPING SERVICES available, including campground water and comfort stations where offered.
May 23-25: Sky Dance Sakakawea kite flying festival at Fort Stevenson State Park. The festival is open to kids of all ages and will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. each day. Fly your own kite. Build your own kite. See kites of all shapes and sizes being flown, including stunt kites. Call 701-463-2661 for more information.
May 25: Cross Ranch Military Appreciation Day.
May 25: Military Appreciation Day at Beaver Lake State Park. Fee admission to the park on Memorial Day in honor of past and present servicemen and women.
May 25: Icelandic State Park Military Appreciation Day. Fee admission, no daily vehicle fee on Memorial Day in honor of pas and present service men and women.
May 25: Military Appreciation Day at Grahams Island State Park. Free admission to the park on memorial Day, in honor of servicemen and women.
May 25: Miltary Service Personnel Day at Fort Stevenson State Park. Free park admission.
