Cabins, meeting facilities and shelters

Campsite and cabin reservations may be made online by going to our Online Reservation System or by phoning our Call Center at 800-807-4723.  Call center hours are 7 am to 7 pm Central Time (effective 10/01/2013). Shelter and meeting facility reservations can be made by calling the park directly at 701.667.6340.

Camping cabins

Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park has two cabins available for rent.

These camping cabins each sleep 5, bunkbed-style. Each is equipped with lights, heat, AC, and a deck. No cooking is allowed inside, but a firering and picnic table is located outside of each cabin. The cabins do not have showers, sinks or toilets, but are within a short walk to a campground comfort station. Camping cabins are generally available from Victoria Day Weekend to the last Sunday in September.

Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park has two tipis available for rent, 'The Heart' and 'The Missouri'.

These are both 18 foot Cheyenne style Tipis. Each includes 6 cots, a small table, a fire ring and a picnic table. Pets, smoking, cooking and fires are not allowed inside tipis. Bedding is not provided. Tipis are generally available from Victoria Day Weekend to the last Sunday in September. They are reservable though our online reservation system or call center.


Meeting facilities and shelters


The Commissary, located on Fort Abraham Lincoln's Cavalry Square, is available for indoor meetings and events with seating and tables for up to 150. The building is open year round and is equipped with sink and refrigerator.

Small shelters within the park are available on a first come, first served basis. The large Triple Shelter, located in the campground, can be reserved by the day.
