Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park

Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park is located in the heart of the Northern Great Plains Steppe Ecoregion. Although mixed grass prairie is the predominant natural vegetation of this region, the floodplain forest and upland woody draws and shrublands associated with the Missouri and Heart rivers make up a large portion of the park's natural vegetation.
