***Non-Law Enforcement***
The Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation grant program is an 80/20 matching grant program offered through the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department (NDPRD). OHVR grants provide financial assistance of up to $150,000 for construction, improvement, or renovation of OHV recreation facilities throughout North Dakota. Examples of eligible projects include trail signage and new development or renovation of OHV trails, bridges, trailhead facilities, and trail linkages.
The following entities are eligible and may apply:
***Law Enforcement***
The OHVR grant program offers up to 100% funding for law enforcement agencies to assist with enforcement of OHV riding areas and to promote responsible OHV use. Examples of law enforcement projects include signage, public awareness and safety media, and overtime expenses for patrolling of OHV areas.
