Discover the nocturnal world in a new way! Stop at sensory stations along the trail to engage your senses and learn how wildlife navigates the dark. Groups will depart every 15 minutes, with the first group at 9:15 PM and the last at 9:45 PM.

Get ready for the return of the 2025 Cardio & Coffee Trail Running Series at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park! This one-of-a-kind event will elevate outdoor fitness by adding in the enjoyment and education of the finest specialty roast coffee. We’ve taken a typical morning run and turned it into an energy-driven morning on the most beautiful and legendary trails of Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park.

This year marks the 450th anniversary of the founding of On-A-Slant Village. To celebrate this milestone, Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park invites you to explore the rich history and culture of the Mandan (Nu’Eta) people through numerous, unique hands-on activities!

Pedals and Popsicles is back! This ranger led approx. mile-long bike ride will start at the Visitor Center and will take you on paved bike paths and unpaved trails through the park. We will end at the amphitheater where there will be popsicles waiting to be enjoyed.

Experience the magic of the night sky at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park’s Star Party! Join us at Cavalry Square from 9-11:30 p.m. for an unforgettable stargazing adventure.

This Labor Day weekend, the legendary Glow Hike returns to Fort Abraham Lincoln. Throughout the hike there will be UV light and music party stations. Join us prior to the event to utilize our face painting stations and get your glow on!
