Do not let the snow keep you inside, grab a pair of snowshoes or rent some from us, come out, and experience the beauty of winter. While trails can be found throughout the state, there are also areas where skiers can blaze their own trails through the undisturbed snow.

General information
- The weather frequently changes during the winter making trail conditions challenging to predict. Please check with the park before hitting the trails to ensure trails are open and to check the condition of the trails.
- If you are bringing a large group out to rent equipment, please contact the park ahead of time to ensure equipment will be available.
- Only snowshoe on designated trails or fresh snow. If a trail is designed as a multi-use trail, stay to the outside edges of the groomed surface (do not walk over the inset ski tracks).
- All North Dakota State Park and Recreation Area maps are available free on Avenza maps.
