The Friends of Fort Lincoln help in hosting the park's Halloween in June event held annually the second weekend of June. Campers decorate their campsites and children of all ages enjoy the many activities held during the event including:
- Scavenger hunt
- Halloween games
- Kiddie ride
- Hayride
- Costume parade
- Costume contest
- Trick or Treating
