Fiscal Donations

Donate a Tree & Shrub Program – Grow a Living Legacy

The Donate a Tree or Shrub program allows you to honor or remember a loved one with a living tribute that enhances the beauty and ecology of our parks.

Your donation helps ND Parks & Recreation plant native, resilient species that provide shade, wildlife habitat, and long-term environmental benefits.

Participants may:

  • Choose the park that holds personal meaning

  • Select a preferred tree or shrub species (or allow our team to choose the best ecological fit)

  • Receive recognition through a certificate, park plaque, or our online Commemorative Tree Registry

Tree/Shrub Pricing: $325 - $375

Donate a Bench – Create a Place to Reflect

The Donate a Bench program offers a meaningful way to honor someone special or commemorate a significant occasion with a custom bench installed within one of North Dakota’s scenic state parks.

Your contribution covers the cost of the bench, installation, and an engraved plaque recognizing your gift.

Program details include:

  • Benches placed in visitor-friendly, scenic, and meaningful locations

  • NDPRD team collaborates with you to select a placement that complements the park’s natural setting

  • Each bench creates a lasting place for visitors to rest, reflect, and connect

Bench Pricing: $2,500 for a 10-year term

Campground Host Program

Consider volunteering as a Campground Host in a North Dakota State Park, perfect for those who love the outdoors, enjoy camping, and want to meet new people.
