2023-2027 North Dakota State Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP)

The SCORP is a guide for managing and developing North Dakota’s outdoor recreation base. The SCORP planning process studies the demand for, and supply of various types of outdoor recreation facilities and activities in order to prioritize outdoor recreation needs on a state and regional level. This information is then used by citizens and lawmakers when planning for future development. 

Completion of the SCORP also maintains North Dakota’s eligibility for federal outdoor recreation grant funding from the National Park Service and Federal Highway Administration.
