Beaver Lake State Park has a one-lane ramp with a courtesy dock that gives users access to Beaver Lake. Designated parking and a vault toilet are located nearby.

Cross Ranch State Park has a one-lane ramp with a courtesy dock that gives user’s access to the Missouri River. This ramp is in the Sanger Campground, located 2 miles south of the main campground by road or hiking trail. This ramp is not plowed in the winter.

Fort Stevenson State Park has two wide multilane concrete ramps one located at Garrison Bay and one at deTrobriand Bay that gives users access to Lake Sakakawea. Both ramps have a courtesy dock. Designated parking, a vault toilet, fish cleaning station, marina, and floating gas pump is located nearby.

Grahams Island State Park has a four-lane concrete ramp that gives users access to Devils Lake. The ramp has five courtesy docks, four serving each lane plus an additional courtesy dock located right next to the boat ramp. A vault toilet, parking lot, fish cleaning station, and concession store are located nearby.

Icelandic State Park has a single lane boat ramp and a courtesy dock that gives users access to Lake Renwick. Designated parking and a vault toilet are located nearby.

Lake Metigoshe State Park has a two-lane boat ramp that gives users access to Lake Metigoshe. Two courtesy docks are available at each lane. Vault toilets and designated parking are located nearby. This park also has a dock on School Section Lake for canoes and kayaks.

Lake Sakakawea State Park has two boat ramps available for use. One is a multi-lane ramp located on the west side of the park, and one is a single lane on the southeast side of the park. Courtesy docks are available at both ramps. Designated parking, a vault toilet, fish cleaning station, marina, and a floating gas pump is located nearby.

Lewis and Clark State Park has a four-lane boat ramp that gives user’s access to Lake Sakakawea. The ramp is located on the east side of the park. Designated parking, a vault toilet, fishing cleaning station, marina, and floating gas pump is located nearby.

The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department takes Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) very seriously. In an effort to combat the spread of ANS throughout North Dakota, the state has enacted laws concerning the removal of vegetation and water from boats and equipment when leaving a body of water. Boat Ramp General Information

  • Ramps are available seasonally. Please check with individual parks in the fall and spring to confirm that ramps are open.
  • All ramps except Cross Ranch and Lake Metigoshe are plowed for winter ice fishing access.
  • Ramps are for loading and unloading only
  • Please have boat water-ready before using the ramp
  • If courtesy docks are available, please use those for dropping off or picking up passengers
  • No fishing or swimming, for humans or pets, is allowed at the ramp area
  • Leave vehicles and trailers in the parking area
  • No wake when entering or leaving the dock area
