2021 Special Event Dates Announced

Dates have been set for the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department's 2021 special events! From fishing tournaments and youth day camps to night hikes and Cardio & Coffee trail runs, we have something for everyone at locations across the state. Many of our events become annual outings for families and friends, and we're proud to provide these memorable experiences for visitors of all ages.

Note that dates and activities are subject to change as the Department continues to work closely with local health officials to follow the ND Smart Restart and CDC guidelines. As event dates approach, please check our Events page as well as the NDPRD and individual park Facebook pages for the most up-to-date event information.

If you're visiting for an event, plan to make a weekend of it and take in all that our destination properties have to offer. Check out the 95-day window calendar so you know when you can book camping reservations ahead of time. As a reminder, campgrounds are open year round, however comfort stations and water may not be available prior to May 21 when facilities are fully open. Reservations for cabins, yurts, shelters and meeting rooms can still be made up to 365 days in advance.
