Join us August 12 as reenactors and living historians from around the region come to portray soldiers from the 6th US Infantry, Co. B who built Fort Abraham Lincoln in 1872-73. Expect to find reenactors living the life and routine of the standard Infantry Company at old Fort Abraham Lincoln, showcasing the rigors of frontier garrison life such as patrols, guard and fatigue duty, drill, and much more. A number of vendors will also be present and selling their wares and crafts to the general public.
