Get ready for the return of the 2024 Cardio & Coffee Trail Running Series at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park! This one-of-a-kind event will elevate outdoor fitness by adding in the enjoyment and education of the finest specialty roast coffee. We’ve taken a typical morning run and turned it into an energy-driven morning on the most beautiful and legendary trails of Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park.

This year, we're combining the annual three-sisters garden harvest with a guided family-friendly hike! Starting at the Visitor Center and ending at the On-A-Slant Village, the hike will be approximately 3/4ths of a mile in length. Along the hike, a Park Ranger will quiz your knowledge regarding the crops the Mandan tribe grew while they occupied the area.

North Dakota's legendary Halloween attraction happens at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park four weekends in October. The event features different haunted house experiences within the reconstructed historic military buildings that once made up old Fort Abraham Lincoln.
