Instructors Lynda Knutsen and Jackie Jacobson will teach the lacing pattern, and participants will work at their own pace to lace their snowshoes.
The goal is for each participant to complete at least one snowshoe during class, although many finish both. Everyone will leave confident in their ability to complete the lacing at home, if needed. Finish your snowshoes on your own by choosing the bindings and sealant color you prefer.
Online registration opens October 5 at noon. To register, purchase an online ticket and submit or drop off the instructor’s fee.
The workshop is $225 ($125 ticket plus $100 instructor’s fee). Participants are not fully registered until both payments are received.
Open to participants age 16+, or age 14 if registering with an adult.
Ticket sales and instructor fees are final with no exceptions. If LMSP cancels the event, refunds will be available.
Registered participants who can no longer attend may send an alternate attendee, provided the terms and conditions are agreed to and notification is sent to aschimetz@nd.gov by 5 p.m. on January 6. Alternate participants may not be able to change the size of their kit.
Optional event insurance is available through and processed by a third party.
Participation is limited to 12–24 participants.
