Head on out the Turtle River State Park to view the stars with the Northern Sky Astronomical Society! Telescopes will be set up at the Chalet for observations and members will be on hand to answer questions.

Get creative with your environment! Paint, create recycled paper, join a nature hike or make fun crafts with things you can find in your own backyard! All programs are free with park entrance permit and you do not have to be camping to attend our programs.

Incorporate nature in your wellness program! Learn the basics of finding edibles in your backyard and neighborhood and try a few games that blend fitness and fun. All programs are free with park entrance permit and you do not have to be camping to attend our programs.

Join us for a weekend of Camping Fun! Learn about campfire cooking, camping games and hacks, and join in a group hike. All programs are free and you do not have to be camping to attend our programs.

National Trails Day events aim to bring together all trail enthusiasts, young and old, while honoring those who help maintain and preserve hiking trails for everyone to enjoy. Many of our parks will be hosting special trails events on Saturday, June 4.

Just us for a Park Clean-up Day and a geocaching Cache In, Trash Out event. We will divide and conquer in a group effort to help keep our park clean.

Participants are invited to take on “Snowflake’s Wild Adventure” a social distance friendly scavenger hunt along the Whitetail Trail (1.5 miles). Participants can park and start their adventure from the Woodland Lodge parking lot.

Hike at your own pace on our luminary lit trails, warm up by the fire, and enjoy some refreshments at the Woodland Lodge. Swing over to the Chalet to view the night sky with Northern Sky Astronomy Society!
