Welcome to our 4th Annual Bison Stampede Run! On Sunday, August 11, we invite you to stampede with us on a variety of back-country runs that are located alongside the Missouri River in an old-growth Cottonwood forest. This year we are hosting a 5K, 10K and 15K run in our beautiful park! There is a pre-registration fee and application, so make sure that you check the event listing on the Cross Ranch State Park Facebook for more information. Registration will also be available before the stampede run in the River Peoples Visitor Center at 6:00 am. The runs will begin at 7:00 am starting with the 15K. All other runs will start after in half-hour increments. Registration will include race and breakfast access in addition to a memorable Bison Stampede item. A small breakfast will be served post-race to include fruit and granola bars. We will also serve refreshments such as coffee, water, and juice.
