Junior Governor's Cup Fishing Derby

Calling all young anglers! Kids age 17 and under are invited to cast a line and compete in the annual Youth Fishing Derby at the de Trobriand Marina in Fort Stevenson State Park.

Schedule of Events:
• Registration begins at 10:00 AM on the marina lawn
• Fishing starts at 10:30 AM

Multiple prize categories will be awarded, and each participant can win in only one category. A limited number of loaner fishing poles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please bring your own if you can.

A free lunch will be served after the derby while supplies last.

The event is free of charge and open to the public. An annual or daily vehicle permit is required for park entrance and can be purchased online or at the park.
