Kids' Weekend & Sheyenne RiverFest

Grab the family for a weekend full of outdoor fun during Kids' Weekend at Fort Ransom State Park! This three-day celebration is packed with hands-on activities, friendly games, and nature-based adventures designed especially for kids. This event is held in conjunction with Sheyenne RiverFest, so bring your kayak or canoe and enjoy a float down the river. 

 

4 PM – Sunne Farm Tour

6 PM – Know Your Gnomes Stroll on the Whitetail Loop (meet by the bridge!)

 

10 AM–4 PM – Bounce house, mini golf, water balloons, pioneer & yard games

11 AM–1 PM – Minnow races

12–2 PM – Marbling paint stations (Shuminagashi)

4 PM – Sunne Farm Tour

All activities are free with a daily or annual park pass. Campsites and cabins are available for the weekend—make it a full family getaway!
