Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park
Join us Sunday, March 17 at 1 p.m. for the annual Leprechaun Leap Hike! This hike will be a scavenger hunt to locate the tricky leprechaun's pot of gold! Come prepared with your thinking caps on as you solve clues and riddles to uncover the location of the leprechaun's hidden treasure. Redeem your gold at the Commissary Store and you may get some sweet and lucky prizes!
Participants will begin the hike at the Commissary Store and the hunt will take 45 minutes to an hour to complete. Those wishing to complete the hike are encouraged to begin no later than 3 p.m. The Commissary Store will open one hour before the start of the hike.
We strongly encourage everyone to wear appropriate snow/winter gear for the hike. This hike is dog-friendly but dogs must be kept on leashes at all times. NO Dogs are allowed inside the Commissary Store, unless they are service dogs.
During the hike, a limited menu of coffee drinks and hot chocolate will be for sale. New items from stickers, clothes, books, souvenirs, and more will be in stock and for sale!
An annual or daily vehicle permit is required for park entrance and can be purchased online or at the park Visitor Center.
