Join the park staff as we ring in the 2022 holiday season, flipping the switch on the decorated iconic infantry post blockhouse! The hike will start and end at the park Visitor Center. The hike will commence at approx. 5:30 pm and will conclude with the lighting of the Infantry post Blockhouse at approx. 6:00 pm. Don't miss the return of this wonderful annual tradition. After the hike stay for fire pits, and a fantastic holiday-themed hot chocolate bar! Hot coffee will also be served.
Hikers are to dress appropriately for the weather and to bring a flashlight for the hike. The hike is a little over a mile and moderately strenuous. The trail will NOT be stroller friendly.
An annual or daily vehicle permit is required for park entrance and can be purchased online or at the park Visitor Center.
