Registration is now open for a free Maple Tree Tapping and Sap Collection Workshop to be held in Dickinson from 1-4 p.m. MST on November 15. The event will take place at the Stark County Family & Ag Resource Campus.
This hands-on, family-friendly event invites participants to discover the art and science of turning sap into syrup. During the workshop, you’ll learn how to identify maple trees, safely tap them, and collect sap.
Each participant will receive a maple tapping kit to take home, providing the tools needed to try syrup-making on your own. The workshop will feature demonstrations, practical tips, and opportunities to ask questions, making it an engaging and educational experience for all ages.
Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged!
