Lewis & Clark State Park
After the success of our first Kids' Fishing Derby last year, we're going bigger and better this year! The Lewis & Clark State Park Kids' Fishing Derby is open to all kids under 18 (17 and younger). We will have two age categories: 10 and under, and 11–17.
Pre-registration is now open online.
We’ll have 90 spots available for pre-registration, with 10 walk-up spots on the day. If you want to guarantee your kid’s spot, be sure to register!
Please arrive at 9:30 AM for registration (this is necessary even if you have pre-registered).
Fishing will take place from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM around the marina.
We are delighted that Susie Q's Ice Cream Truck will be joining us from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM during weigh-ins and awards.
The fishing derby is free to enter, but an annual or daily vehicle permit is required for park entrance and can be purchased online or at the park.
