Join Lewis and Clark State Park, Badlands Search and Rescue, and Epping Rural Fire Department for a local emergency services themed event to be enjoyed by kids/adults of all ages.

Badlands Search and Rescue is based out of McKenzie County, North Dakota, and was founded to bring an asset to the western North Dakota region and public safety community for search & rescue capabilities. Epping Rural Fire Department is based out of Epping, North Dakota, and was created in 1914. Epping rural was created to serve and protect our community and property.

Friday, June 11, from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm CST @ Friends Shelter: learn what types of services Badlands Search and Rescue offer.

Saturday, June 12, from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm CST @ Friends Shelter: hear from Epping Rural Fire Department on what services they provide.

Park staff look forward to partnering with local emergency service agencies and providing our park users with information on what services are available to them. Free lemonade will be provided by the park and Susie Q’s Ice Cream truck will arrive at the conclusion of each event.

Trader's Bay Visitor's Center will be open for general purchasing from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm. NDPRD 2021 annual passes will be for sale.

The event is free of charge and open to the public. Vehicle passes are required for park entrance $7/day or $35/year
