Wild Outdoor Women (WOW) is back at Lake Metigoshe State Park this winter with an inspiring and adventurous lineup. Designed for women ages 16 and older, this event helps participants explore new hobbies and build confidence in the outdoors. Held February 6–8, this weekend event includes a wide range of hands-on sessions for all experience levels, with both indoor and outdoor options.
Participants can tailor their experience by choosing activities such as downhill skiing, spearfishing, canning, wilderness first aid, painting, syrup making, and more. Check out the self-guided trail adventures that allow guests to try out winter equipment like kicksleds, snowshoes, skishoes and cross-country skis at their own pace prior to the event.
Whether you're looking to find a new hobby, refine your skills, or simply connect with like-minded women, WOW offers the flexibility to make the experience uniquely yours. Optional lodging and meals are available to complete your winter retreat.
