Experience the magic of the night sky at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park’s Star Party! Join us at Cavalry Square from 9-11:30 p.m. for an unforgettable stargazing adventure.

Pedals and Popsicles is back! This ranger led approx. mile-long bike ride will start at the Visitor Center and will take you on paved bike paths and unpaved trails through the park. We will end at the amphitheater where there will be popsicles waiting to be enjoyed.

Celebrate the North Country National Scenic Trail in North Dakota with a weekend of hiking, history, and community! In partnership with the Central Flyway Chapter, Lake Sakakawea State Park is hosting two days of guided hikes, educational programs, and family-friendly fun.

This year marks the 450th anniversary of the founding of On-A-Slant Village. To celebrate this milestone, Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park invites you to explore the rich history and culture of the Mandan (Nu’Eta) people through numerous, unique hands-on activities!

Join artist Sabrina Hornung at Turtle River State Park to learn about leather tooling. There's also an opportunity to join one of three hands-on workshops held on Saturday, August 16 where visitors can make their very own tooled leather keychain! Don't miss this unique opportunity to create your own piece of art in nature.

Discover the nocturnal world in a new way! Stop at sensory stations along the trail to engage your senses and learn how wildlife navigates the dark. Groups will depart every 15 minutes, with the first group at 9:15 PM and the last at 9:45 PM.
