Join us August 11-13 as reenactors and living historians from around the region come to portray soldiers from the 6th US Infantry, Co. B who built Fort Abraham Lincoln in 1872-73. Click for full schedule of activities.

Join us for the 7th annual Bison Bash at Cross Ranch State Park and Nature Preserve. We have a fantastic weekend packed full of bison events for all ages that will include a Cinnamon Charge obstacle course, bison interpretive program, craft station, nature preserve hike, and Bison Stampede fun run.

Get ready to get soaked Saturday, August 5! Dress to get wet and bring a towel for a variety of games to test your skills. We will be playing individual games and team games so bring your friends!

Bring your furry friend for a fun summer hike. The two-mile hike will start at the Visitor Center at 10 a.m. on Aug 5, 2023. The route of the hike will follow parts of the paved bike trail and the Little Soldier Loop.

Come out to Fort Ransom State Park and enjoy Kids' Weekend. A bounce house and kids' activities will be held throughout the day. All ages are sure to have fun!

Family Fun Weekend is the perfect way for families to work and bond together as a team.

Join us Saturday, July 29 @ 7:30 p.m. at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park for a very special, one-night musical event in the On-a-Slant Village. The event is an "Evening of Native Flute Music" presented by Mandan/ Hidatsa / Oneida Native American flutist Matt Schanandore.

Fort Stevenson State Park is pleased to host an evening of entertainment in the Garrison Bay Marina. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the waterski show, live music and lighted boat parade.

Spend the day at Cross Ranch State Park for this annual event in partnership with the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. A full schedule of events is planned, so come to enjoy the beauty of the park, hear some amazing music, and light candles in memory of our loved ones.

Join us for some spooky happenings the weekend of July 28-29! Bring your candy, costumes and decorations to take in the campsite decorating contest, trick-or-treating, a movie under the stars and a few other family-friendly activities.
