Participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count with Lewis and Clark State Park. Outdoor educator Bridget will do a crash course on birding basics followed by a guided walk to count birds.
This event is primarily for ladies over the age of 16 who wish to learn or improve on skills associated with several outdoor recreational activities to include activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, darkhouse spearfishing and more!
Join us to start off the year with a night hike in the full moon. Head out on your own or join our guided hike at 7 p.m. Hot chocolate will be available throughout the event!
Ring in the New Year at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park with the 2025 First Day Hike. This annual tradition is a great way to start off the new year. Hot chocolate and coffee will be served before the hike inside the Visitor Center next to a roaring, warm fire.
Enjoy some of the final days of 2024 at Lewis and Clark State Park as we put a bow on our 50th Anniversary Celebration! Follow a trail of family-friendly puzzles and clues to track down the missing star.
Join us for this festive escape room experience on Dec 21, 22 or 23 at Lake Metigoshe State Park. Open to ages 8+ (12 and under should attend with an adult). Adults welcome to attend with or without youngsters!
Join us on Saturday, December 21, as we wrap up a milestone year with an evening full of holiday cheer and family fun at Fort Stevenson State Park. From 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, the North Campground Loop will come alive with activities for all ages to enjoy.
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of decorating birdhouses for the holidays, followed by our annual Carol Sing at the Hallson Church. Bring $5 for supplies. All are welcome!
