Are you ready for the festivities to begin? We have a jam-packed weekend planned for Halloween in June! Children of all ages are encouraged to trick-or-treat throughout the campground.

All ages are welcome to the 31st Annual Missouri River Bluegrass Festival at Cross Ranch State Park. Grab a lawn chair and listen to live bluegrass music Friday, June 16 from 6:30-10:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 17 from 10 a.m.-10:30 p.m.

Join us for the annual Night at Akra Hall and learn how to square dance like the pioneers! Whether you're an expert dancer or someone who's never seen square dancing before, all are welcome!

Visit Fort Stevenson State Park's deTrobriand Marina for an open house to celebrate National Marina Day! Bring the kids for rain gutter regatta and minnow races.

Come experience the sights and sounds of the 1860s Military at Fort Ransom State Park June 10-11. Visit the park as reenactors and living historians come together to recreate the life of infantry soldiers on the campaign trail. 

Join in the spooky fun for Halloween in June weekend! Everyone is invited for family fun including bingo, crafts, carnival games, kiddie train rides, costume parade, trick or treating and more!

Join the Dakota Prairie Chapter of the North Country National Scenic Trail as a group of hikers works together to hike the entire North Dakota section of the North Country Trail in one day.

Bring the whole family for an opportunity to get up close to emergency equipment and engage with first responders. Park staff look forward to partnering with local emergency service agencies and providing our park users with information on what services are available to them.

Fort Abraham Lincoln, which sits just to the north of the North Dakota State Veterans Cemetery, was one of the earliest installments of military service here in North Dakota. Join us for a Memorial Day Hike in honor of those who have given everything for our country.

Sky Fest welcomes kite flyers of all ages to decorate the sky over Fort Stevenson. Fly your own kite or witness professional kite flyers as they bring in some of the largest kites currently in production. Special activities will take place each day.
