Join us on September 2 as we take to the trails with a stop to enjoy the sunset. Ranger-guided hike starts at 8 p.m.

Join us this summer for Fort Abraham Lincoln's Star Parties! The event will be held at the Fort Abraham Lincoln Cavalry Square from 10 p.m. to midnight. Please plan on arriving a little early to get a good observation spot. Sunset will be around 8:36 pm if you want to arrive before darkness descends.

Take a look at the world from a different perspective! Participants will stop at stations along the trail where our team will encourage them to use their senses & learn how nocturnal animals navigate the night.

Once again the Great Planers Trout & Salmon Club will be hosting their annual derby at Lake Sakakawea State Park!

Will you survive Jaws at LMSP? Imagine watching Jaws along the Lake Metigoshe shoreline, whether it is on the beach, the grass or even dangling your feet in the water in the swimming area.

The annual weekend of family fun at Icelandic State Park will be themed around a timeless activity... game night! There are a variety of fun activities planned throughout the weekend including a cornhole tournament, bingo, ice cream social, coloring contest, fishing derby, sandcastle contest and more! 

Join us August 11-13 as reenactors and living historians from around the region come to portray soldiers from the 6th US Infantry, Co. B who built Fort Abraham Lincoln in 1872-73. Click for full schedule of activities.

Join us for the 7th annual Bison Bash at Cross Ranch State Park and Nature Preserve. We have a fantastic weekend packed full of bison events for all ages that will include a Cinnamon Charge obstacle course, bison interpretive program, craft station, nature preserve hike, and Bison Stampede fun run.

Get ready to get soaked Saturday, August 5! Dress to get wet and bring a towel for a variety of games to test your skills. We will be playing individual games and team games so bring your friends!
