This event takes you back to 1875 where you can experience the sights, sounds, and smells of Christmas in the frontier Army. Our team and period reenactors in military and civilian dress will be on hand to educate and entertain the public through historic presentations, games, carols, period food and beverages, historic firearm demonstrations (conditions permitting), gift & decoration-making, and more!
Join us for exciting make-it, take-it classes during the Dickens Festival! All classes will be held at the park's Visitor Center. Participants are welcome to drop in anytime between 10-4 each day, but please note that space and supplies are limited!

The Lake Agassiz Radio Club of Grand Forks will be setting up an amateur radio station at the Turtle River State Park Chalet as part of the Nationally recognized “Parks on the Air” (POTA) event. The public is invited to visit the radio station at the Chalet where club members can highlight the hobby of amateur radio and provide more detail on the POTA events.

Join us for a whimsical workshop where you can build enchanting fairy houses with our talented Artist-in-Residence, Kimberly Eslinger, on October 12 and 19! This free, family-friendly event will be held from 1-4 pm each day at the Fort Stevenson State Park Visitor Center conference room.
