Join us for a wild and wet weekend at Icelandic State Park where we'll learn a bit about our riparian environments, different aquatic adaptations, and have some of our own Olympics events!

Have you heard of geocaching before? Would you like to try? This weekend is the perfect opportunity to learn something new or participate in an activity that you've loved for years. Join in the geocaching fun at Lewis & Clark State Park.

Fort Ransom State Park is looking forward to welcoming guest speaker Dr. Bob Anderson of Valley City State University for a special birding hike and Prairie Birds Presentation on July 31. Check out other bird-themed events happening all weekend long.

Visit Icelandic State Park, where the homesteading spirit is alive and celebrated with a breakfast and church service at the historic Hallson Church. The event also features Nordic folk art demonstrations and opportunities for visitors to participate.

Join in on the fun for the 16th Annual Halloween in July at Lake Metigoshe State Park. Decorate your campsite with Halloween decorations, watch Monsters, Inc. at the amphitheater and partake in various other spooky activities.

Kids can show off their fishing skills at the ND Junior Governor’s Cup Youth Fishing Derby at Fort Stevenson State Park on Saturday, July 17, in the DeTrobriand Marina.
