Tucked in a secluded corner of the park, the Sunne farmstead is the site of the Annual Sodbuster Days, providing early, horse-drawn farming demonstrations and displays.

Get ready for a challenge with our Games Galore weekend! Put your survival skills to the test, solve clues to get out of the escape room, and take part in the park game night! All programs are free with park entrance permit and you do not have to be camping to attend our programs.
Take a step back in time and experience what life was like at an 1870s military fort. Frontier Military Days features authentic tents and gear, living history demonstrations, tomahawk throwing, trader tent and black powder gun demonstrations. Witness the cannon firing at noon and 3:30 pm each day.
Head on out the Turtle River State Park to view the stars with the Northern Sky Astronomical Society! Telescopes will be set up at the Chalet for observations and members will be on hand to answer questions.
Get creative with your environment! Paint, create recycled paper, join a nature hike or make fun crafts with things you can find in your own backyard! All programs are free with park entrance permit and you do not have to be camping to attend our programs.
Applications are open for the Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce Walleye Tournament, to be held June 24-26 at Grahams Island State Park. The guaranteed first-place prize is set at $6,500. A free kids and family clinic will also be held on Saturday with the first 50 kids receiving a free rod and reel.
Join in on the Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park Father's Day Hike on June 19 at 11 a.m. It is a great way to continue celebrating summer and a great way to honor our dads. The hike is about 1.75 miles and will start and end at the Infantry Post parking lot.
Learn different survival skills and compete against other campers to build shelters and fires. Join in our Father's Day Hike or take a geocaching crash course. Lots of fun to be had this weekend at Grahams Island!
All ages are welcome to the 30th Annual Missouri River Bluegrass Festival at Cross Ranch State Park. Grab a lawn chair and listen to live bluegrass music or participate in a music workshop.
