This event is a nationwide effort that encourages everyone to explore and advocate for trails. Take the opportunity to participate in a volunteer trail project, collect litter, or join in a guided hike or trail activity all while finding physical, mental, and emotional restoration.

Fly your own kite or witness professional kite flyers as they bring in some of the largest kites currently in production. Special activities will take place each day throughout the weekend including building your own kite.

The event features the following local public service entities: Garrison-Max Ambulance, Garrison Memorial Hospital, Garrison Fire & Rescue, North Dakota Highway Patrol, McLean County Sheriff’s Department, North Dakota Game & Fish Department, Fort Stevenson State Park Rangers, Northstar Criticair, Sanford AirMed. The event offers many fun activities for kids including bike rodeo, bounce houses, and door prizes, to name a few.

We will be meeting at 10 am at the Chalet and dividing out the different areas of the park. Trash bags and disposable gloves will be provided. Bring your own water and stay for a picnic!
