Join Fort Abraham Lincoln’s 1st Sergeant Al Johnson for “Life of a Frontier Soldier”. During the special program, kids take the official oath of enlistment in the U.S. frontier military; learn about life living on the frontier post; the basics of field drill on the parade ground; and their role as part of Fort Abraham Lincoln. The program also includes a visit to the Commanding Officer's Quarters with 1st Sergeant Johnson.

Join Lake Metigoshe State Park staff in the amphitheater to learn more about the variety of plants, trees, and pollinators found right here in the Turtle Mountains. Go on a wildflower walk to identify and learn more about the plants and wildflowers currently blooming along the trail.

Come for all the exciting entertainment at Fort Ransom State Park's Halloween in June! Bring the kids in costume Saturday, June 19, and go trick-or-treating around the campgrounds. Campers are encouraged to bring candy for trick-or-treaters and decorate their campsites!
