Join Fort Abraham Lincoln’s troops for “Life of a Frontier Soldier”. During the special program, kids will take the official oath of enlistment in the U.S. frontier military; learn about life living on a frontier army post; the basics of field rifle and marching drill on the parade ground; and their role as part of Fort Abraham Lincoln.

Join us for a weekend of family-friendly activities including Family Feud, lawn games, color run, disc golf and street art!

Have you ever wanted to experience stargazing in dark sky country? Meet Interpreter Ash at the Morraine Loop trailhead at 10:30 pm and see constellations and stars of all kinds. 

Spend the day at Cross Ranch State Park for this annual event in partnership with the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. A full schedule of events is planned, so come to enjoy the beauty of the park, decorate your campsite, hear some amazing music, and light candles in memory of loved ones.

Join us for some spooky happenings this weekend! Bring your candy, costumes and decorations to take in the campsite decorating contest, trick-or-treating, a movie under the stars and a few other family-friendly activities.

Kids can show off their fishing skills at the North Dakota Junior Governor's Cup Youth fishing derby held in the de Trobriand Marina. The derby is open to anyone aged 17 years old and younger.

Join us in the campground this Saturday, July 13 for some family-fun summer games! All activities will be held in the park amphitheater including watermelon, train rides, gunny sack & wheelbarrow races, bingo and root beer floats.

Head to Fort Ransom and step back to the time of pioneer farming for the 40th Anniversary of Sodbuster Days. Enjoy farming and lifestyle demonstrations along with horse-draw wagon rides and more!
