Experience the magic of the night sky at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park’s Star Parties! Join us at Cavalry Square / Parade Ground from 10:00 PM to 12:30 AM for an unforgettable stargazing adventure. 

Join Cross Ranch State Park for this annual event in partnership with the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. A full schedule of events is planned, so come to enjoy the beauty of the park, hear some amazing music, and light candles in memory of our loved ones. If you're camping, join us in making the park pink and decorate your campsite.

Join us for this special, one-night musical performance by Matt Schanandore. Schanandore has studied the art of Native American Flute music on the northern plains for almost 20 years. He wonderfully blends the ghostly and melodic native flute music with the ancestral history of the Mandan people and the stories and teachings of his late Grandmother Regina Schanandore, or "Eagle Plume Woman."

Calling all young anglers! Kids age 17 and under are invited to cast a line and compete in the annual Youth Fishing Derby at the de Trobriand Marina in Fort Stevenson State Park.

Pedals and Popsicles is back! This ranger led approx. mile-long bike ride will start at the Visitor Center and will take you on paved bike paths and unpaved trails through the park. We will end at the amphitheater where there will be popsicles waiting to be enjoyed.

Step back in time and experience life on the prairie during Sodbuster Days, an annual tradition at Fort Ransom State Park! This immersive, family-friendly event offers a hands-on glimpse into North Dakota’s homesteading and pioneer days.
