History lovers, this one’s for you! Join us at Fort Ransom State Park this Saturday, March 14 at 2 p.m. to meet local author Mattie Richardson. Bring a friend, enjoy a cookie or refreshment, and come learn more about the stories and history that shaped the Sheyenne River Valley.
Join us for the third of the 2026 full moon hikes! We will meet back at the maintenance area shop to gear up, meet friends, and pick your route. Bringing your own equipment is welcome, but we will also have snowshoes and HOK skis available to borrow for the evening. Hot chocolate will be available to warm us up after the cold.

Join us at Lake Metigoshe State Park, February 6–8 for the Winter Wild Outdoor Women (WOW) event! Designed for women ages 16+ who want to learn or refine outdoor recreation skills in a safe, hands-on setting. Choose from a variety of indoor and outdoor sessions ranging from skiing, snowshoeing and spearfishing to canning, wilderness first aid, painting, and more.
