Join us for some spooky happenings the weekend of July 29-30! Bring your candy, costumes and decorations to take in the campsite decorating contest, trick-or-treating, a movie under the stars and a few other family-friendly activities

Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park is excited to be hosting Marie Snavely, an artist, teacher, avid bike rider and native North Dakotan. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet Marie, obtain some tips and tricks, and see her artwork inspired by her week-long residency at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park.

Head on out the Turtle River State Park to view the stars with the Northern Sky Astronomical Society! Telescopes will be set up at the Chalet for observations and members will be on hand to answer questions.

Join us at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park for our Summertime Hike! This hike will be just over a mile long and will be starting at the Visitor Center at 10 a.m.

Come celebrate the Christmas spirit at Fort Ransom State Park's Christmas in July! Decorate your campsite for Christmas. There will also be a parade around the campgrounds to see Santa and get some treats!

Kids can show off their fishing skills at the North Dakota Junior Governor's Cup Youth fishing derby held in the de Trobriand Marina. The derby is open to anyone aged 17 years old and younger.

Take flight with us for our Flitter Flutter weekend! Learn all about butterflies by seeing our monarch habitat up close. Create a bug craft, join a group hike or learn more about moths. All programs are free with park entrance permit and you do not have to be camping to attend our programs.

Join in the fun with many festive activities at Lewis & Clark State Park for Christmas in July.

Bring the whole family for a day of fun brought to you by the Friends of Fort Abraham Lincoln. Activities include barrel train rides, gunnysack races, water activities, bingo and root beer floats. All events will be held at the amphitheater.

Tucked in a secluded corner of the park, the Sunne farmstead is the site of the Annual Sodbuster Days, providing early, horse-drawn farming demonstrations and displays.
