Join us for the 34th annual Kids Weekend at Icelandic State Park. The theme this year is "Wild West".
This camp is for youth ages 8-12 and will focus on environmental education and recreational skills. Explore reptiles & amphibians, paddle a canoe, shoot archery, go fishing, learn survival skills and more!
Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park is hosting a special one-night musical, “Evening of Native American Flute Music”, in the On-a-Slant Village.
You won't want to miss this entertainment filled event! The evening of August 3 will feature a water ski show which will include trick skiing, pyramids and jumps. A live performance from the band Classic Rhythm and a lighted boat parade will follow.
Several organizations, including Fort Ransom State Park, will host this fun-filled event that will feature many activities throughout the day.
Bring your kids and have oodles of fun at the park with a bouncy barn, face painting, tons of crafts, and an assortment of outdoor games!
Lake Metigoshe State Park, along with Marie's Restaurant, is hosting a day camp that will focus on hands-on recreational skills, environmental education and individual uniqueness. Special guest Samantha Redding, 2019 Miss North Dakota USA, will be joining us!
Join in on the fun at Mrs. Kate's Concert! This will be an interactive event with music, puppets and storytelling. All ages are welcome. The audience is a part of the show!
Bluegrass Goes Pink is an event that raises awareness of cancer. All proceeds that are collected from this event are donated to the Bismarck Cancer Center. The day starts with a 5K & 10K run/walk trail race at 9:00 am. Cottonwood then plays relaxing bluegrass music during the evening to commemorate cancer survivors and those who have fought bravely.
Bring your costumes, decorations, and candy to join us for a great weekend at the lake. There's will be a variety of spooky events that are fun for the whole family taking place to include a spooky movie and trick-or-treating in the modern campground.
