The year 2019 marks 30-years since the private-public efforts to rebuild the “Custer House” (1989-2019) happened at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park. Join us as we consider what this meant for the past, and what it means today and what it could mean tomorrow for heritage tourism locally and throughout the Northern Plains.

Help us restore the storm windows on the Hallson Church! Pancakes and sausage will be served from 9:00 am—1:00 pm at Akra Hall. At 10:00 am, join us at the Hallson Church for worship. All offerings will go towards repairing the storm windows.

The Outdoor Learning Center at Lake Metigoshe State Park along with the North Dakota Game & Fish Department is hosting a day camp for youth ages 12-16 that will focus on hands-on recreational skills.
Bring out the whole family for another fantastic hike at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park on Father's Day. It is also a great way to start of summer and also a great way to Celebrate and honor our dads. The hike is about 2- 3 miles and will start from the Commissary Store on Cavalry Square at 1:00 pm. #fathershikefalsp #fathersday
Join Fort Ransom State Park and Beaver Lake State Park for the 2nd annual archery competition. Each park with host an event. Prizes will be given out at both events for the top 3 youth and top 3 adult competitors. For people who participate in both events, top 3 overall adult and youth awards will be given out as well.
Our 29th Annual Missouri River Bluegrass Festival will be on June 14th & 15th, 2019. This event is one of Cross Ranch State Park's longest running events!
